In the leafy London suburb of Northwood lies this substantial new family home, constructed by Octagon Developments for one of their Bespoke clients.

The brief was a contemporary but warm and practical kitchen for this family home.

As part of a large open plan living space, with the use of different depths, materials and feature panelling we created a kitchen which blends in to its living space.

Take a look at the video tour and you will see a concealed entrance into the utility room which was crucial for the clean lines we wanted to achieve. Concealed doorways are not unusual but what sets this one aside is that it opens back into the run of cabinets, not into the kitchen space. This is indeed technically challenging, espcially if there is plinth below the cabinets, and if the door needs to have a hold open mechanism.

This was a fantastic project for discerning clients who knew exactly what they wanted and appreciated the attention to detail which we provided, so much so that we have designed, supplied and installed a kitchen for another family member since.​​
